Why Acupuncture?
Like many people, I didn’t discover acupuncture in a textbook—I found it out of frustration. After over a year of unresolved health issues and a lack of appealing options from my GP, I decided to try acupuncture.
By the third session, I was already feeling 80% better. After 12 sessions, I felt like myself again. I was blown away—how could something so simple (and let’s be honest, a bit mysterious) have such a huge effect?
Naturally, I had to know more. So I studied it. And then I fell in love with it.
How I Work
I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. No cookie-cutter protocols here—your treatment plan is tailored to you and your needs. I take a collaborative approach, working side by side with conventional medicine when appropriate, and using therapies that complement each other.
Depending on what you need, I may bring in tools like cupping, auricular acupuncture (NADA), electro-acupuncture, Bach Flowers, tissue salts, or essential oils to support emotional wellbeing, relieve pain, or just help you feel more like you again.
And because I’m an eternal student, I’m always training in new techniques and keeping up with current research—so your care is always evolving with the best of both traditional and modern knowledge.
A Special Interest in Women's Health & Cancer Support
I’ve completed focused training in menopause care, learning how to support this major life transition through both TCM and a Western lens. From hot flushes and sleep issues to anxiety, hormonal shifts, and weight gain, acupuncture can be a powerful ally.
I’ve also trained in safe acupuncture practices for people undergoing cancer treatment, with a focus on working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. This means understanding red flags, respecting clinical boundaries, and providing gentle, supportive care where appropriate.
