Follow-up treatments build on the foundations set in your first appointment. Each session begins with a brief check-in to see how you’ve been feeling since your last visit. This helps to adapt the treatment to your changing needs. Gentle, sterile needles are then placed in selected acupuncture points. These are usually left for 20–30 minutes while you rest. Most people find follow-up sessions deeply relaxing and often notice cumulative benefits as treatment progresses. For ongoing wellbeing and preventative care, routine appointments once a month are often recommended, although frequency can vary depending on your individual health goals and needs.
